Katsuhiko Yamada received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, in 1978, 1980 and 1990, respectively. From 1980 to 2005, he worked for Central Research Laboratory and Advanced Technology R&D Center of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. From 2005 to 2013, he was a Professor in Department of Aerospace Engineering at Nagoya University, Aichi. Since 2013, he has been a Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering at Osaka University, Osaka. His current research interests include dynamics analysis and control of spacecraft.
