Interdisciplinary Collaboration and   New Field Development Committee

The situation surrounding aerospace sciences and technologies is undergoing major changes due to changes in the global environment such as global warming and the associated severe weather disasters, and innovations in ICT technologies such as AI and IoT. It is necessary to make more effective use of aerospace sciences and technologies for society and industry in response to such changes in the situation. To that end, we are promoting activities based on the recognition that it is important to collaborate with different fields and industries other than aerospace and to develop new research fields. Specifically, we will organize research groups for individual topics under the committee and carry out various activities for interdisciplinary cooperation and new field development.
