JSASS members receive the following benefits.
1. Aeronautical and Space Sciences Japan, the monthly Japanese-language periodical, is issued. JSASS members receive as a publication and student members receive as a pdf file monthly. The reader obtains various reviews/surveys basic knowledge, and related information of aeronautics and astronautics field. The members can contribute an article to the periodical. The periodical is also available for all JSASS members online.
2. JSASS mail magazine, the monthly Japanese-language e-mail, is sent to registered e-mail addresses of members. All JSASS members can obtain the newest information of JSASS.
3.JSASS issues the following four academic publications, which are available for all JSASS member online. JSASS members also receive two print publications.

4. JSASS members can attend the hosting or joint/cooperating conferences or events (more than 10 conferences/events per year) held by the JSASS. Members can obtain the latest information and gather with other members of aerospace field. JSASS members can present a paper at the conferences and have privilege for discounted registration fees.
The proceedings of JSASS hosting conferences are available for all JSASS members online several months after the conferences. Search keyword service is available the online proceedings. It is easy for all JSASS members to survey the trend of research in Japan.
5. JSASS members can participate in various committees and branches, and attend as board members for planning and operation of JSASS.
6. The society awards are given out to outstanding papers or newly developed technologies. JSASS award program includes Journal Award, Technical Award, Encouragement Award, etc. The Student Award is given to outstanding students who are studying at aerospace–related universities/colleges (currently about 20 schools/departments). The presentation awards such as the Student Presentation Award are given to excellent presentations in most conferences.
7. JSASS members can establish a technical subcommittee for innovative technological developments and researches under the collaboration with the society.
8. JSASS members can access to the members page of the JSASS homepage for researchers database, technical glossary, and etc.
9. Some books (written in Japanese) can be purchased with member-discounted price.
10. The scholarship assistance is available for student members living in Japan to attend international conferences such as ICAS (International Council of Aeronautical Sciences) and APISAT (Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Aerospace Technology).
