Toshio Ogasawara

Dr. Toshio Ogasawara is a professor of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. He worked in Nissan Motor Company Ltd. from 1987, and then joined to National Aerospace Laboratory (NAL), Science and Technology Agency (STA) in 1998. Since NAL was merged into Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) in 2003, he worked in Advanced Composite Center of JAXA as a senior researcher until 2015. His major research field is composite materials for aircraft, rocket, re-entry capsule, and space transportation systems. He is now a chief-in-editor of “Advanced Composite Materials”, and an editorial board member of “Journal of Composite Materials”, and “Composite Science and Technology”.
