Keumjin Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Air Transportation at Korea Aerospace University, South Korea. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in aeronautical engineering from Seoul National University, South Korea, and the Ph.D. degree in aerospace engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta in 1999, 2001, and 2008, respectively. Prior to joining to Korea Aerospace University, he worked in the department of air traffic management as a researcher at the Electronic Navigation Research Institute (ENRI), Japan, and in the department of aviation research at the Korea Transport Institute (KOTI), South Korea as an associate research fellow. He is interested in a wide range of modeling, estimation and optimization methods with applications to various aviation related problems including air traffic management, aviation safety and airspace design.
