He also received MASc degree in 1998 from University of Waterloo and PhD degree in 2004 from Univetsuty of Tronto. He is currently the Inaugural Academic director of Research Commons in the office of Vice-President Reseach &amp; Innovation,Professor and Tier I York Research Chair in Space Technology at York University.He has been conducting innovative research in astrodynamic, dynamic and\u00a0control of\u00a0spacecraft by combining fundamental engineering principles with application for sustainable use of \u00a0space for human society.<\/p>\n<p>His research results in over 300 papers in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He has served for many professional societies including CSME, PEO, ASME, NASA, AIAA, and IEEE.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Zhu is the Fellow of\u00a0Canadian Academy of Canada, Engineering Institute of Canada, Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME), and American Society of Mechanical\u00a0Engineers (ASME).
