He has been working for\u00a0IHI from 1994 to 1997 where he engaged in research and development of supersonic propulsion system. He joined Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS) as a Research Associate in 1997. In 2001, he\u00a0returned to the University of Tokyo as a Lecturer in Aerospace Propulsion.
